BREAKING NEWS: ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR KWCOED ILORIN FRESHERS (LANGUAGES & SCIENCE DEPARTMENT)

The orientation program for the new intakes of kwcoed Ilorin kick started yesterday,starting with the department of Languages and Science.

The program which was scheduled for 3 days started yesterday. Due to some delays from the program organizers, the program which was scheduled to commence at 10am was later kick started at exactly 12:30 pm .
The program organizers said it was the representative of the Provost of the school person of Dr.M.B TAIWO, that's delaying them, they said the program cannot commence unless he is on seat.

The program was anchored by the college PRO person of MR.AYELABEGAN, attending the program was the Deputy provost Dr. M. B Taiwo, MR ONIGBEGIRI from the school of science,MR WALE ADEKANYE from students affairs unit,MR ONIYANGI from school of languages,MR ABDULLAHI FROM STUDENTS AFFAIRS UNIT, ALHAJI AGBAOJA ,CHEIF SECURITY OFFICER, DEAN OF JUNIOR SECONDARY EDUCATION PRINCE S.O OYEYEMI, MR OLOKOTO,ALHAJA FROM CLINIC, DR ABDUL RAHEEM DEAN OF STUDENTS AFFAIRS UNIT, REPRESENTATIVE FROM GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING CENTER, AND MR FABIYI FROM CITC AND SOME MORE FROM REGISTRY AND SO ON.
ALSO THE SUG PRESIDENT SEN.ALAGBEDE, THE SPEAKER HON.ABDULLAHI, the Sug AGS, Social director, deputy speaker,and the SRCs also attended the program.
The program started with the recitation of the national anthem, opening prayer by the dean of JSE Prince Oyeyemi, opening remarks from the deputy provost Dr Mb Taiwo, then speech and advice from the clinic unit representative, Dr abdulraheem also made his own speech followed by Security advise from the CSO representative, then the representative of Guidance and counseling also gave the students the college dress code, and also told the students that security check up will start by Monday, any student with indecent dressing will be sent back from the gate and hostel.
Mr. Fabiyi from CITC also told the students what the unit is all about then Mr wale rounded up the program with his speech. Questions from students were entertained but none stood up to ask, a student was also caught by Mr ayelabegan putting on a black spectacle (Eye Glass) and was handed over to the security operatives to serve as an example to the others.
