A MEETING WITH THE SUG PRESIDENT SEN.ALAGBEDE

The meeting which was supposed to began at 12pm later started at 1pm due to the absence of the Sug President Sen. Alagbede, in the building.

The president Later apologized to all Participants of The meeting, ranging from the SPEAKING SPEAKER OF THE SCHOOL,HON.ABDULLAHI AHMED BOLAKALE, THE DEPUTY SPEAKER, FEDERAL HONOURABLES,STUDENTS REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL EXECUTIVES,CEC OFFICERS ALSO, SCHOOLS PRESIDENTS AND THEIR GEN.SECS AND ALSO UNITS PRESIDENTS AND THEIR GEN.SEC AS WELL AND AS YOU ALL KNOW A CAMPUSECHOE REPRESENTATIVE WAS ALSO THERE.

The president first of all advised everyone to make use of their office in a way that they could make a POSITIVE AND UNFORGETTABLE HISTORY IN THE SCHOOL CAMPUS.

Then he tabled the agenda that bring about the meeting. Which he said were three in numbers.
The first thing he talked about on the list was MOWER, Mower is a machine being used to cut grasses.

He (The president) Urged all Units presidents to come together in unity and undee the umbrella of a school should provide a MOWER MACHINE EACH.
For example The School of Languages has four (4) departments under it, which are English,Yoruba,Arabic and french. These four depatments are to contribute each and the president of Languages will also contribute to it then they will Buy A Mower Machine which will be labelled With School of Languages and will be kept in their department and will always be used to clear their surroundings when needed since the school isn't responding to their call on the bushes issue.
The idea was welcomed by the whole house.

The second issue being discussed is the issue of LAYAD, LAYAD is the rope we use to hang our Id card on our necks which was designed based on different schools colour and with the COLLEGE NAME AND LOGO.

The president Implore all Schools and departmental presidents to make sure that the layad goes round to their student most especially the FRESHERS, before their matriculation day because the school is planning on bringing in SOLDIERS on that very Day and anyone that is found without layad and at least DEPARTMENTAL I.D CARDS would assumed to be a HOODLUM WHO IS THERE FOR RIOT PURPOSE and he also said the SRCs will also go round that day to ensure everyone is safe.
He added that all routes to the College will be mounted by SECURITY OFFICIALS
TO ENSURE NO EXTERNAL CRIMINAL COMES IN.AND IT WILL BE A NO LAYAD NO ENTRANCE DAY NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE.

Lastly The president talked about A STARTER'S PACK.
This starter pack is a combination of things like CUSTOMIZED BOOKS,PEN,VEST,BAG ETC. Which will be given to each student at the rate Of TWO THOUSAND NAIRA ONLY(2,000).
The starter's pack is a project strategised for the students of the school most esespecially the freshets,so as to be in uniformity,and enjoy that offer at low prizes.

                                

The Speaker Hon.Abdullahi was asked to say to the matter,
He started by CONDEMNING THE PRESIDENT AND SOME OTHER EXECUTIVES LIKE HIS OWN DEPUTY SPEAKER,SOME CEC EXECUTIVES,FEDRAL HONOURABLES AND SRCs FOR NOT PUTTING ON THEIR LAYADS.
He later implore them to always be with it everytime for SECURITY PURPOSE, HE ALSO IMPLORE ALL DEPARTMENTAL SENATORS TO TELL THEIR STUDENTS TO ALWAYS BE IN DEPARTMENTAL UNIFORM IN THEIR RESPECTIVE DAYS.

SEN.BILAL ALSO TALKED ABOUT AN ARTICLE HE READ ONLINE AND REQUESTED THE SUG PRESIDENT SHOULD LOOK INTO THE CAMPUSECHOE OFFICIALS WALFARISM AND FINANCING ALSO.
